I am a 20 year old sister, daughter, friend, cousin, soccer-star, amateur sailor, wanna-be photographer, cancer survivor, Catholic, red-head, music whore, nanny, Gasgow Celtics fan, reader, traveller, pre-med student, and over all normal human being. I was born in Ireland, and raised all over the world in clinics along with my siblings and parents (they’re medical missionaires). I have a photographic memory, I own 1,000 books, I can’t stand cake not even for my birthday, I have been to all but one continent. I come from a large family, I’m Irish (and Catholic… imagine that guilt), and someday I will cure Cystic Fibrosis.

I’m so happy to have “met” someone so extraordinary. I’ll certainly run more than one marathon with your story in mind (for Team in Training–such a great organization!). I can’t wait to see what life unfolds for you! My good friend died of cystic fibrosis in 2004. She was 24 and left a husband and her 6 month-old baby here with us.
